Were also so excited for another one of our Women on Fire,
Ilonka. She has been asked to be the spokesperson for Children At
Risk (ASCI) and will be going to South Africa October 24th for three
weeks. She and her team will be visiting children who are
severely poor, abused, neglected, un-educated and most of all need hope
and desperately need to hear about the love of Christ. If you

Had another GREAT rehearsal last night with all the 'women on
fire'!! Great to see everyone, share the latest and of course get
our songs down!!! MATTINA & JULIE you guys ROCKED, thank you

Had a great rehearsal last night with 9 of the 12 ladies!!! Wonderful
energy when we all get together. We're working hard to be ready
for our first show at Saddleback Church on SEPTEMBER 25th from

show, at the fabulous Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA on

with us. We have also just pieced together a rockin' INSPIRE

Well, we finished laying all the vocal tracks for our theme song.
We had a blast at Bill Deaton's studio in Franklin, TN. He and
Shawn Rorie were awesome to work with!!!! We should have the song
completely finished and ready for y'all to hear by March 1st. As
well our full and complete website should be up and running by then as
well. We are working very hard to organize everything and 'get
moving'!!!!! We're excited to Begin this journey..... L&D

Happy New Year everyone!!! The WOF team are very excited to bring
in a new year and really take our vision and 'calling' to the next
step. This month we will be recording a THEME song for WOF,
produced by BIll Deaton and Shawn Rorie. The song was written by
Deanna Johnston, Shawn Rorie and Leah Shafer. One step at a

***An 'All Female' Touring Concert Series***
Leah and Deanna have hand picked some of the country's most talented
female performers to join them on stage for Women on Fire. The
selection process was intense because each singer had to be a proven,
solid performer able to captivate large crowds. She also had to be a
seasoned singer, songwriter, recording artist, and possess a
willingness to share her intimate journey. That journey often meant
overcoming great obstacles and personal pain. You see, Women on Fire is
much more than an evening of unforgettable original music by some of
the best performers you've ever seen. This concert experience is also
about stories of great personal struggle and tremendous triumph!
